Hydrating Lip Oil

Start with undertone. Warm shades lean orange, brick or golden red and sit naturally on golden skin. Cool shades lean pink, berry or blue-red, and tend to make teeth look brighter. Neutral shades sit between the two and are the safest guess if you are unsure.

Take your time over it, because a shade you simply do not like is not returnable. Every shade on this site is photographed on real lips rather than shown as a stylised graphic, and the swatch is the true colour of the product, so what you see here is what arrives.

Through the day. We are not going to quote you an hour count, because the honest answer is that it depends on what you eat and drink, and anyone giving you a number is guessing on your behalf.

What we will say: the Matte Lip Stain sets down in about a minute and gets through a meal without a touch-up. The Matte Lipstick holds most of a working day. The Satin and Cream Lipsticks are comfort-first and want topping up after you eat. Gloss and lip oil move, because that is what shine does.

No on all three, and the reason is different for each formula.

The Matte Lip Stain is built on a film former rather than a heavy wax, which is what makes a cheap liquid matte crack and cake as it dries. It sets flexible and stays flexible. The Matte Lipstick is the opposite approach: an oil and wax bullet with kaolin to take the shine down, so it never sets hard enough to crack in the first place. Nothing here is sticky, and the gloss and the oil are both non-tacky by formulation, so your hair will not catch in it.

The honest part: nothing survives dry, flaking lips. If your lips are peeling, the colour sits on top of that and shows it. Use the Lip Butter first, give it a minute, then apply.

If a colour ships tomorrow, it was made a long time before you wanted it. Ours is made and packed after your order comes in, in Dallas, which takes five to nine business days, then three to five business days in transit. That is the entire reason for the wait.

We could be faster. We would have to make a lot of it in advance and hope it sells. We would rather take the extra week and tell you about it up front than have you refreshing a tracking page.

Shipping is free on orders over $100, otherwise a flat $9.99, which is what it actually costs us to send. United States only at the moment.

Not for a change of mind. Every piece is made to order and it is colour that goes on the mouth and the skin, so once it has left us we cannot resell it, and we are not going to pretend otherwise by taking it back and quietly binning it.

What we do instead is give you everything you need to choose right the first time: every shade photographed on real lips, the complete ingredient list, and a straight answer about how each finish behaves.

If the order arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, that is a different thing entirely and it is our mistake. Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo and we put it right in full, shipping included.
